Shangri_La Sofa

Shangri-La is a collection of informal and casual sofas and armchairs based upon the apparent conflict between geometric and soft shapes, with this being the new version of a collection that had great success in the 1970’s. Restyled by Luca Scacchetti, a square shell is characterized by clear and precise lines and contains a soft filling, without shape, marked by messy creases and swellings that invite you to relax and immerse yourself into it, like in a hug. The external frame is lifted from the ground by metallic legs that run the length, to the arms, but not continuing, thereby containing the internal elements in a unique tidy and sophisticated shape, in a different contemporaneous existence.
